DYO Polyester Putty SR Light Yellow 920-2500-51 is a two-component polyester-based filler and finishing putty developed for automotive body repair and refinishing applications. It is easy to apply, does not sag during application and helps produce a smooth surface before subsequent refinishing stages. DYO
The product dries quickly and can be sanded after a short period even at lower ambient temperatures. DYO also specifies high elasticity and impact resistance as key characteristics. DYO
It can be applied to properly prepared bare steel, galvanised steel, aluminium, fiberglass, wood, polyester and epoxy-primed substrates. According to the technical data sheet, 1–3% polyester putty hardener should be added before application. DYO
Once cured, the putty can be sanded using P80–P180 abrasive paper. A compatible DYO 1K or 2K primer can then be applied before the final topcoat. DYO
