For machine application, an appropriate compounding foam pad or wool pad can be used. Apply a controlled amount of product to the paintwork and polish at approximately 1200–1500 rpm until the required level of correction is achieved. Remove any remaining residue with a clean microfibre cloth after polishing.

An important feature of Dyo Heavy Cut Compound is its silicone-free formulation, making it suitable for professional automotive refinishing and bodyshop applications. Depending on the required finish, the compounding stage can be followed by a finer polishing compound, swirl remover or protective wax to complete the paint-finishing process.

The painted surface should be clean and cool before application. The product should not be applied in direct sunlight or on hot body panels. When working on an unfamiliar paint surface, testing the product on a small, inconspicuous area before full application is recommended.
