3M 50383 Perfect-It Ultrafina SE Polish is a professional ultra-fine automotive finishing polish developed to remove fine swirl marks and holograms remaining after machine polishing. It is suitable for both original and refinished automotive paint surfaces. 3M Multimedia
3M 50383 effectively removes fine machine-polishing swirls and holograms, helping produce a clean, high-gloss finish. According to 3M, it can achieve a hologram-free finish even on black vehicles. 3M Multimedia
It is intended primarily as a final finishing step after machine compounding and polishing, rather than as a heavy-cut compound.
According to 3M's technical data sheet, Ultrafina SE should be machine polished at approximately 1400–2000 rpm using a 3M Ultrafina High Gloss Polishing Pad 50388 (150 mm) or 50389 (200 mm). 3M recommends the 50400 Ultrafina Polishing Cloth for final wipe-off. 3M Multimedia
