Duxone DX61 1K Primer-Surfacer Grey 2.5L is a single-component automotive primer-surfacer designed for professional automotive refinishing and surface preparation before topcoat application.

DX61 can be applied to properly prepared steel, galvanised steel and aluminium substrates, helping provide corrosion protection and a suitable foundation for subsequent refinishing coats.

Its fast-drying 1K formulation does not require a separate hardener. According to Duxone technical information, the product can be dry sanded after approximately 1–1.5 hours of air drying.

DX61 can be used as both a primer and primer-surfacer and is suitable for wet-on-wet application depending on the selected refinishing system.

Depending on the application method, compatible Duxone DX32, DX34 or DX36 thinner can be used according to the current technical data sheet.
